Every property creates a different security puzzle. One site may have access readers worth preserving. Another may need broad coverage across a parking lot or storage facility. A remote location may have no wired Internet—or no permanent power at all.

For security integrators, the most important decision is not simply which technology to specify. It is how to build a practical, scalable solution around the conditions already on-site. A successful security system deployment should reduce installation friction, protect existing investments and leave room for expansion and upgrades.

That practical approach connected the solutions featured in Luminys’ August 2026 webinar: a new access controller, a panoramic camera, solar options for difficult locations and a digital planning platform. Together, they offer a clearer path from initial security system design to long-term commercial video surveillance management.

Modernize Access Control with 4-Door Web Access Controller

Overview of the C-4MA 4-Door Web Access Controller from the August 27, 2026 Dealer Webinar.

The new Luminys C-4MA four-door web access controller helps integrators expand access control while retaining compatible infrastructure. It supports up to 100,000 users and Bluetooth mobile credentials, while LumiViewer enables management of up to 64 door channels.

A built-in web server simplifies browser-based configuration. Support for compatible Wiegand readers helps preserve existing equipment, while Bluetooth, remote, password, card or fob, and combination verification methods provide flexible access options.

Cover More Area with the N5P-12DB2 LumiDeterrent Panoramic Security Camera

Adding more cameras is not always the most efficient way to cover a wide area. Large parking lots, storage properties and similar commercial sites often need broad visibility without the cost and complexity of deploying multiple devices.

The 2 × 6MP N5P-12DB2 LumiDeterrent panoramic security camera combines two 6MP sensors to create a seamless 180-degree view and a rated DORI detect distance of up to 196 feet. Its built-in deterrence and two-way audio can help operators respond to activity across wide commercial sites.

When the camera detects a person or vehicle in a configured area, it can send an alert and activate deterrent lights or an audible warning. Operators can review the event and use two-way audio to address someone at the site while the activity is still taking place.

LumiTracking-E can zoom in on and track multiple people and vehicles simultaneously. LumiSearch adds another layer of efficiency by using a reference image to locate relevant appearances across LumiSearch-enabled cameras and NVRs. The camera also supports intelligent motion detection for people and vehicles, helping reduce false alarms from other objects, animals or change of lighting.

LumiWatch & LumiGuardian for Remote Site Security Solutions Without Permanent Infrastructure

The most challenging locations are often the ones without reliable power, wiring or network connectivity. Luminys’ remote site security solutions use off-grid solar surveillance to bring video coverage to places where conventional infrastructure is unavailable or impractical.

Summary of the LumiWatch & LumiGuardian systems from the August 2026 dealer webinar presentation.

LumiWatch is a permanently mounted solar-powered surveillance system designed for wall- or pole-mounted deployments. The TW-71A combines a 120W solar panel, a 960Wh battery and integrated 4G/LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity. Depending on the deployment, it can support up to two fixed cameras or one PTZ camera, along with an included speaker and local management through LumiViewer.

For mobile or temporary applications, the TG-113A LumiGuardian GEN 2 brings surveillance to construction sites, outdoor events, parking lots and other locations where permanent security infrastructure is impractical. Its trailer-based design gives integrators a way to position coverage around the needs of each site and relocate the system as those needs change.

The platform supports up to four user-supplied cameras and pairs video surveillance with a visible deterrent presence. Flashing lights, floodlights and audio warnings help draw attention to the secured area and discourage unwanted activity, extending its role beyond recording incidents after they happen.

TG-113A Highlight Features

  • Three 460W monocrystalline panels and four lithium iron phosphate batteries provide approximately 7–10 days of autonomous power without sun, depending on energy consumption.
  • Dual charging supports AC power when utility power is available, and the trailer includes a retractable 26-foot mast, IP67 ingress protection, C5 corrosion protection and a 4 TB hard drive; cameras are not included.
  • LumiCloud provides cloud-based recording, remote monitoring and real-time battery, solar-status and location information. TG-113A includes a one-year LumiCloud license and one month of 100GB of 4G data. GPS tracking is available when using LumiCloud, and the trailer includes a built-in eSIM-based 4G LTE connection.

Design the System Before Arriving On-Site with System Surveyor

Better installations begin with better information. The Luminys partnership with System Surveyor helps teams move security system design into a shared digital workspace before equipment reaches the job site.

Using a tablet or phone, teams can upload a floor plan, position Luminys products and document the intended field of view. Photos and notes can be attached to each device, giving sales, design and installation teams a common record of what was planned and why.

System Surveyor can then generate a bill of materials based on the selected models and quantities. The platform also works offline after a floor plan is uploaded, which is useful during surveys in areas with limited connectivity. An impact study conducted by Fidelio Works Consulting found that participating integrators reduced design time by 50% and improved win rates by 20%.

A More Flexible Approach to Commercial Video Surveillance

The most effective security deployments are designed around the site rather than a single product feature. That principle should guide every decision—from the first floor plan to the final installation.

A flexible approach lets integrators preserve compatible equipment, reduce device counts, reach locations without conventional infrastructure and give customers a management model that fits their operations. It also makes the system easier to expand and adapt as requirements change.
